We are a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive pet healthcare services in Spokane, WA. Our veterinarians offer a wide variety of medical, surgical, and dental services. Our hospital has advanced equipment and technologies, including comprehensive in-house testing for accurate diagnosis, digital x-ray, surgical suites, dental suites, and a pharmacy. We are committed to providing quality care at every stage of your pet's life. From routine preventive care to early detection and treatment of a wide range of conditions and diseases, we have the expertise to provide the highest standard of care for your pet. We also serve Spokane's South Hill including Lincoln Heights, South Perry, Rockwood, Manito, Cliff/Cannon, Comstock, Moran Prairie, Glenrose, Spokane Valley, and Latah Valley.

  • Dr. Katie Shockley

    Doctor

    Dr. Katie Shockley is a South Carolina native whose dreams of living out west near big mountains brought her to Spokane. Dr. Shockley has known from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and has continued to pursue that dream. She got her bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences from Clemson University (Go Tigers). After graduation, she went to vet school at Auburn University in Alabama. Dr. Shockley has worked in a small animal practice in SC for the last 3.5 years before moving to the Inland Northwest.

    SPECIAL INTERESTS
    Dr. Shockley loves the challenges associated with soft tissue surgery. She loves the idea of being able to fix something or know what’s wrong with a pet through surgery. She also loves ultrasound and dermatology. She believes in furthering the human animal bond through keeping pets as healthy as possible with preventive medicine.

    FUN FACTS
    Dr. Shockley and her husband moved across the country to enjoy all the outdoor activities the west has to offer. They love backpacking, fly fishing, and skiing; they cannot wait to explore the mountains and rivers around Spokane. She has two dogs: Tilly, a former re-search beagle from Auburn, and Riggs, a duck hunting chocolate lab. She Is a huge College Football fan (Clemson), and will miss going to the games, but is excited about the next adventures here in Spokane.

  • Dr. Erika Berdan, DVM

    Doctor

    Dr. Erika Berdan was born and raised in Poway, CA but has been a resident of Eastern Washington for eight years now. She completed both her undergraduate and veterinary degree at Washington State University. Go Cougs! It has always been her goal to practice veterinary medicine and she is ecstatic to now be in Spokane.

    Dr. Berdan takes particular interest in radiology and emergency and critical care patients. Ultimately, putting the pieces of the puzzle together to determine the best outcome for your pets is her biggest motivation.

    In her free time, Dr. Berdan enjoys outdoor adventures in the PNW. Although she does not have any pets of her own yet, she is considered the “cool-aunt” to many of her friends and families fur babies. One day she dreams of having her own small farm with goats and cows.

  • Dr. Daniel Prendiville, DVM

    Doctor

    Dr. Daniel Prendiville is an Eastern Washington native having been born and raised in Walla Walla. He completed his undergraduate studies at Eastern Washington University before leaving the Pacific Northwest to complete his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. Having recently graduated Dr. Prendiville is excited to return to Spokane to start his career in veterinary medicine.

    Dr. Prendiville enjoys the outdoors, travelling, and biking. He also enjoys supporting Eastern’s men and women rugby teams. He can often be found in the Perry street district walking his dog Billie with his wife Vanessa.

    Hospital Manager

    Hayley keeps busy hiking, reading, and enjoying music in general. She is a Spokane native and a graduate of Central Valley High School. She has one cat named Marlow.

  • Leslie

    Licensed Vet Technician

    Leslie has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2008, she graduated from Yakima Valley Community College. Leslie has a special interest in dentistry and leadership. She is currently working on receiving her certification in hospital management. She has goals to become an equine massage therapist and pursue her passion of rodeo. Leslie enjoys spending quality time with her family and being outdoors. In her free time you can find Leslie riding horses, participating in roller derby, and knitting.
  • Melissa

    Licensed Vet Technician

    Melissa has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2018. Originally from Alaska, she moved to Washington to attend tech school at Yakima Valley College. Melissa has a special interest in emergency medicine and also works at one of the local ER clinics. She loves monitoring pets during surgery and making sure they’re warm and cozy afterwards. She spends her free time with her husband Prestan, their two crazy dogs, and their hairless guinea pig.

    Samantha is originally from Grandview and just recently moved to the Spokane area. She went to college for Wildlife Ecology with an emphasis in Marine Biology. Her hobbies are camping, tubing, ice skating, tennis, swimming and hiking. She has two heelers named Tuffy and Blue.

    Dakota is originally from Florida where she graduated with her B.S. in Biology from the University of Central Florida. She is currently working on her Graduate Certificate for Wildlife Management through Oregon State University. In her free time, she loves to hike and spend time with her Bloodhound, Ella, and her Beagle mix, Josie.

    Alyssa has lived in Spokane her entire life. She graduated from Central Valley High School. She plans to further her education at Washington State University for veterinarian school. In her free time she loves spending time with her significant other and loved ones, playing games, and watching her favorite shows.

    Jade has always been passionate about animals and is excited to work in the veterinary field. Growing up, Jade had many different species of animals. She currently has a cat named Oliver who enjoys going on walks. She is currently attending school at Spokane Falls Community College. She has spent her summers working at a residential camp on Lake Coeur d’Alene. When she is not at camp, she likes to go camping and hiking. In the winter, she enjoys spending time skiing at Mt. Spokane. Jade cannot wait to meet you and help care for your pets!

    Julia was born and raised here in Spokane surrounded by many types of animals. When she is not at Regal helping clients and their pets, she enjoys painting, entomology, and macro photography. In the summer Julia also loves to swim the entirety of Fish Lake multiple times each week.

    Allison is born and raised in Spokane and loves everything about the PNW. She is excited to help your furry family members and has a cat of her own. She has always loved exotic animals and hopes to one day further her education. When she is not at Regal she enjoys exploring Manito Park and spending time with cats and kittens who are ready for adoption at local shelters.

    Emma moved here several years ago from Seattle. She grew up with many different animals and currently has five at home, two dogs and three cats. When she’s not working, you can catch Emma at home with her partner and the animals, binge-watching tv or out hiking and camping in the mountains.
